I’m researching books about leadership and decision-making and I’m wondering if any of you could recommend a book, or a few books to me.

Please leave a comment with a brief explanation about what you learned from the book and if you’re still applying the principles today.

    Kirk,

Leading Quietly by Joseph Badaracco, Jr., is a good one. Talks about making decisions in hard to tell how to do the right thing situations…

Also, What Would Machiavelli Do? by Stanley Bing is probably NOT the type of leadership book you’re looking for, but it is pretty funny.

My friend Joseph gave me a book a couple years ago called “It’s Not How Good You Are, Its How Good You Want to Be: The World’s Best Selling Book by Paul Arden”: http://www.amazon.com/Its-Not-How-Good-Want/dp/0714843377

Arden’s short lessons and observations encouraged me through a tough time while searching for a job.
