It never surprises me to hear about an old classmate from college who is following their dream or doing well at their chosen profession. A few months ago I was flipping through SPU’s Response alumni magazine and noticed the painting on the back cover was done by Anne Faith Nicholls, a classmate and fellow Ashton Hall dorm dweller back in 1998 and 1999. I’m always interested in hearing about where people land after graduation. Usually I look at illustrations or photographs in magazines and passively turn the page, but when you’ve met the artist it personalizes the viewing experience.
